Introducing the D15HRB, our latest high-performance backsheet designed to enhance the efficiency and durability of your all-black solar module. Built with advanced HPO-technology, this backsheet combines industry leading reflection in the non-visible (NIR) light spectrum with a deep black appearance. The result is superior protection and increased module nameplate capacity without compromising aesthetics.

Balancing reflection and black appearance

The single-step backsheet manufacturing process of our HPO-technology provides us with full control over the composition of every layer in the backsheet. This allows us to achieve industry leading ‘black’ reflection in the NIR-spectrum. At the same time the reflection is kept as low as possible to secure a true deep black visual appearance.

Proven reliability while enjoying enhanced module nameplate capacity

Endurans HP D15HRB is built on our proven HPO-technology platform, making it stronger and more reliable than traditional PET-based backsheets.

Additionally, the high NIR-reflection level of the cell-side layer of our D15HRB backsheet increases your module’s nameplate capacity by ~1.5%, delivering an extra 6-9W per residential module – directly benefitting your bottom line.

A proven backsheet

The Endurans® HP D15 is a genuine one-off. In fact, it’s now the recipient of the world’s first integrated stress sequence accelerated aging certificate – from industry leading third-party testing and certification organization, TÜV SÜD. This tough material evaluation simulates natural conditions through a combination of damp heat aging, ultraviolet aging, high-and-low temperature cycle aging, and other sequences. What else would you expect from a product based on a proven HPO technology platform installed in more than 20 million modules worldwide?

A sustainable backsheet

Like the rest of our Endurans backsheet family, the Endurans® HP D15 is fluorine-free with up to a 30% lower carbon footprint than traditional equivalents. It’s fully recyclable and leaves zero production waste. And by formulating the full material stack, we retain full control of product quality.

Today around 7GW of solar modules installed globally have our Endurans backsheets inside. That’s more than 20 million modules: a proven backsheet solution.

Eight years of performance data from nine sites dating back to 2015 reveals: no yellowing, no excessive abrasion, no chalking, and no delamination.
