Built to last: durable and reliable
We’ve put our long heritage in polymer science into a backsheet technology that deliver long-term protection against moisture, mechanical stress, sand abrasion and UV. This performance has been tested extensively and proven in-house, in-field and by leading independent experts.
Using a unique single-step co-extrusion process we created a multi-layer film with a mono-layer coherency – thus minimizing the risk of delamination. And by formulating the full material stack, we retain full control of product quality.
Sustainable (and profitable)
Our backsheets are fully recyclable and fluorine-free. They not only lower your carbon footprint, but also reduce your module’s end-of-life cost, thus helping you contribute to a more circular solar industry.
Our backsheets are co-extruded, recyclable and feature a strong polyolefin core, delivering great all-round performance, with best performance/cost ratio for all climates.

This is especially relevant right now because the increased demand for low-cost solar modules has put every component under extreme price pressure. More than ever, we are seeing mainstream players reduce the protective layer’s thickness and compromise on material choices across all the layers and adhesives. The result: greater risks to PV module and plant performance and hence returns. Looking further ahead, increased system voltage will also require more robust backsheets – built on proven technology you can trust.
